Once the design is completed, the hunt begins for the best company to execute construction. The bidding and negotiation process can be stressful, but with the expert guidance of Julien Engineering & Consulting, Inc. you can find the right contractor that is ideally suited to your needs and budget.

The project is advertised, either publicly or to a select group of contractors, and the construction documents are presented to proposed contractors providing bids. We will assist with evaluation of bids and make a recommendation for either the lowest responsible bid or the bid that offers the greatest value, whichever is applicable. It is important to not necessarily settle for the company which is offering the lowest price, but rather for the one that has the strongest history of satisfied clients and a list of completed works that displays a dedication to quality at all times. While the decision of which contractor to choose is ultimately yours, having the advice of experienced professionals is invaluable. After you have decided which bid to accept, you will enter into an agreement with a construction company that will see to the physical execution of construction or renovation.

Contract NEGOTIATION

After selecting the contractor that best matches your vision, budget and goals, it is time to negotiate their contract. During the negotiation, you are able to discuss the project with the construction company, working out the finer details of the contract in an attempt to secure the best possible deal for their services.
